1 DAY PACU JAWI TOUR - SATURDAY

 

ITINERARY:

 

                   Pacu Jawi tour trip in West Sumatra holidays begins as soon as you land in Padang Airport. Our tour guides will either fetch you from Padang Airport (Minangkabau International Airport) or from the hotel you stay in Padang city and will travel straight away to the Pacu Jawi arena in Batusangkar Tanah Datar region which roughly takes 3-4 hours drive.

                   On our way, we might also have a short stop at Anai Valley waterfall & coffee break at Panorama Kiambang. If we still have time, we will also visit Pagaruyung Palace, the most famous tourist attractions in West Sumatra. It’s also the icon & tourism highlights in Minangkabau highland.

                  The Pacu Jawi race starts around 12h30 & finishes around 15h30. We will travel straight to Padang Airport (roughly takes 3-4 hours drive) to catch up your flight and travel further to your next holidays destinations around Indonesia.

DAY 01 - FRIDAY - Padang Downtown or Minangkabau International Padang Airport to BUKITTINGGI

 

ITINERARY:

                   Our tour guides will either fetch you up from Padang Airport (Minangkabau International Airport) or from the hotel you stay in Padang city & travel straight to Bukittinggi roughly takes 2 hours drive nonstop. Short stop at Anai Valley waterfall & Coffee break at Panorama Kiambang. If we still have spare times, we will also visit a tourist attractions village, Pandai Sikek which is well known for its handmade traditional hand weaving (tenunan songket) and wood carving (ukiran kayu).       

                   Check in hotel around Bukittinggi late at noon. It is also possible to watch the traditional Minangkabau dance (60-90 minutes performance) in the evening (at 20h30). 

 

DAY 02 - SATURDAY - PACU JAWI Tour - BATUSANGKAR TANAH DATAR - WEST SUMATRA

 

ITINERARY:

 

                   Visit the green Sianok Canyon before heading to Pacu Jawi race arena located in Batusangkar Tanah Datar Region which roughly takes 2 hours drive from Bukittinggi.

                   Lovely coffee break at Panorama Tabek Patah before proceeding to the race arena. We will also visit Pagaruyung Palace, one of the most famous interesting places in West Sumatra. It’s also the icon & tourism highlights in Minangkabau highland.

                  The Pacu Jawi festival finishes around start around 12.30PM & finishes around 3.30PM. We will travel back directly to Padang Airport which roughly takes 3-4 hours drive.
