DAY 01 - MEDAN Downtown or Kuala Namu International Airport to BUKIT LAWANG 

ITINERARY :                                              

Your North Sumatra holiday tour trip begins as soon as you land in Medan Airport. We will either fetch you up from Medan Airport (Kuala Namu International Airport) or from the hotel you stay in Medan city. We will travel straight away to Bahorok Bukit Lawang, one of the most interesting places around Sumatra as the Orang Utans become the most tourist attractions in North Sumatra. By passing small towns with rubber, palm oil and cacao plantations which of course some short breaks (stops) will be made all along the way. Especially if you find any interesting places for the stops even  photo-stops, just simply let us know and we pull over. Later on the journey completed as soon as we reach Bahorok - Bukit Lawang after 4 hours drive and check in Hotel Bukit Lawang.

 

DAY 02 - ORANG UTAN (SUMATRA) JUNGLE TREK

ITINERARY:

Your North Sumatra vacation started by seeing the Orang Utans as the most popular  North Sumatra tourism jungle icon which probably takes around 3 hours easy lovely  hike, guided by our well experienced Sumatra tour guides.  After enjoying the Orang Utan’s  behaviour, we walk down to Bahorok river to continue the trip by tubing  heading back to your hotel which roughly takes 30 minutes tubing in river. During the lovely noon, you will be able to do things on your own interests, such as swimming at Bahorok river or even taking an easy lovely walk around the village nearby.

 

DAY 03 – BUKIT LAWANG TO BERASTAGI

ITINERARY:

The North Sumatra vacation will proceed by travelling to Berastagi Town, a town surrounded with lovely mountains landscape. It is doable if you are interested in visiting the crocodile breeding/conservation. Coffee break at Panorama Berastagi hill would be a great stop after 3 hours journey. Proceed travelling around the Berastagi town by visiting traditional fruit market as well as the Gundaling hill in Berastagi for the enchanting panoramic view of Sinabung and Sibayak volcanoes. Later at noon and check in hotel (Berastagi)

 

DAY 04 – BERASTAGI to SAMOSIR ISLAND - TOBA LAKE

ITINERARY :

The journey will be farther south of North Sumatra interesting places area, to Samosir Island -Toba Lake. Along the way, we will have some stops, coffee breaks visit the Dokan Village, the traditional Batak village. Then proceed the trip to a fabulous tourist attraction around North Sumatra, the charming Sipiso-piso waterfall. It would be great to have a coffee break at Simarunjung village while enjoying Toba Lake view and surrounding mountains landscape. The tour trip will proceed to Parapat town to get a ferry/boat across Samosir Island  - Toba Lake. And Check in at noon at the Hotel - Toba Lake.

 

DAY 05 – AROUND SAMOSIR ISLAND – TOBA LAKE TOUR

ITINERARY:

Your holiday around North Sumatra tourism would be lovely by visiting Ambarita village, to see the ancient court yard of the Siallagan’s tribe which is still originally decorated with its stone chair, stone table and surrounded with traditional Batak’s houses. Later on we will travel farther to visit Simanindo village, another tourist attractions around Toba Lake to see some traditional Batak dancing. And we will also visit another interesting places around Somosir Island Lake Toba, Tomok Village to see the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar graves yard. Back to hotel and free at your own leisure during noon, relax and swim would be great idea.

 

DAY 06 – SAMOSIR ISLAND to MEDAN AIRPORT

ROUGH ITINERARY :

Take the ferry or boat across the mainland, Parapat Jetty and continue travelling further up north to Medan Airport which roughly takes around 4 to 5 hours drive. We will either send you back to Medan Airport or to any desired hotel around Medan downtown.
